I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in private practice. I enjoy helping people cope with issues and transitions that are affecting their ability to enjoy life.

Searching for a therapist can be a daunting experience. You may already be feeling vulnerable and the thought of meeting with a total stranger to discuss your concerns can seem particularly overwhelming. For some folks, this may be enough to make them decide not to follow through with getting the help they need.

I know that counseling can be beneficial, but the relationship needs to be the right one for change to take place. It is my hope that the information on this website will help you to decide whether or not we might be compatible. I also offer a free brief phone consultation to further help you make a decision that feels right for you. If, either after our phone consultation or the first few sessions, I, or you, do not feel that I am the appropriate therapist for you, I will gladly offer names of others who might be better suited to help you. My utmost priority is that you receive the help you are looking for.
